A practical place to learn

Understand the idea.
Then use it.

SheetSprout is an independent Excel learning project. Its aim is to help English-speaking learners build useful spreadsheet skills through explanations, examples and deliberate practice.

How lessons are developed

Our lesson text, worked examples and exercise datasets are original. AI assists with writing and development. Technical claims are checked against Microsoft documentation, and formula exercises are tested with changed inputs. Each available lesson includes its technical references and review date.

Automated checks are useful, but they do not replace feedback from real learners or testing in Microsoft Excel. The prototype is a starting point for that review.

What is available today

All three learning paths are available: 14 beginner, 13 intermediate and 12 advanced lessons, with 165 interactive exercises. Four downloadable practice workbooks support the lessons. Check my workbook grades supported formula tasks and provides a separate checklist for native Excel actions.

Where the project is heading

Further development will expand examples, workbook grading coverage and practice resources. Public launch work will include broader browser testing, learner review, learner feedback and a contact channel. Optional, consent-based analytics helps us understand which pages are useful; search indexing is enabled.

There are no ads or commercial links in this prototype. Future monetization will be considered after the content is useful and the website is ready for a public audience. Traffic, ad approval and revenue are not guaranteed.
